Sometimes during Kiiko’s classes she’ll utter one phrase that seems to sum up her entire clinical approach. In this class, it was “It has to be 3-D!”. Her immediate reference was the need to reinforce one’s treatment on the front of a patient’s body with one’s treatment on their back. But, her comment could have easily referenced her insistence on understanding a patient’ condition — simultaneously — from a East Asian channel/Zang-Fu point of view and from a Western bio-medical perspective. In this class, she takes her 3D perspective a step further, combining insights from the Han Dynasty canons with acupuncture’s much older Taoist roots.

This class features ever-seen-before lecture and treatment demonstrations that focus on Kiiko’s newest clinical discoveries, with a deep dive into the "person point" or Stomach 9:

1. Woman (54 yrs old) presents with an Achilles tear who is treated with St. 9, anti-inflammatory, and circulation points. 

2. Man (in 70s) presents with leg pain and numbness; with a history of disk herniation, coronary artery disease with bypass surgery, hernia repair, ulcerative colitis, and rotator cuff tear; who is treated with St. 9 and oxygenation points for neuropathy.

3. Man (in 50s) with loss of appetite, bloating, and constipation and a history of Lyme disease, leukopenia, and susceptibility to respiratory infections whose treatment includes tongue points, St. 9, liver deficiency points with diodes, and Gb 37 (or "bright light/cloud connection").

4. Woman (66 yrs old) presents with hip pain, sciatica, and pre-diabetes, who has a history of hypertension and multiple COVID-19 infections, who is treated with St. 9, diabetic pattern, piriformis release, and scoliosis treatments.

This innovative webinar is entirely online with a unique hybrid of live and recorded elements, including

• TWO live and interactive Q & A sessions via Zoom with Kiiko Matsumoto’s protégé, Monika Kobylecka, on Friday,May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 9AM - 5PM PDT with a lunch break from 11:45 AM-1:00 PM PDT. These sessions will be recorded and added to the Vimeo showcase of class videos within one week.
